Please note that the practices of Vanguard Technology, its affiliates, and agents (“VT”), with respect to data collected and used by VT in connection with this website and all other VT affiliated websites, and its affiliates with links to this policy (collectively, the “Site”) and VT services available or enabled via the Site (“Services”), are governed by this online privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) as amended from time to time, and not the privacy policy in effect at the time the data was collected. Please regularly review our Privacy Policy. If you have objections to the Privacy Policy, you should immediately discontinue use of the Site and the Services enabled by the Site. This Privacy Policy does not govern privacy practices associated with offline activities, websites other than the Site, or any products or services not available or enabled via the Site.

Collection of personal information

We collect customer login information which comprises user ID, name, email address, credit card information. By using this Site, you agree and acknowledge that personal information collected through the Site or in connection with the services provided may be transferred across national boundaries and stored and processed anywhere in which VT maintains offices, including the United States.

How your personal information is used

VT collects your information in order to record, support and facilitate your participation with VT. If you provide information to the site, for example, the information is used provide access to the website and other benefits that may be made available to registered users. Your personal information may also used to track your website preferences and keep you informed within unless you have opted not to receive such communications or such communications are prohibited by law.

You may access and correct your personal information and privacy preferences (such as whether you wish to receive promotional communications) by contacting the Vanguard client we host using the contact information on their website if you cannot reach your client you may contact Vanguard Technology within the contact information page on this website and Vanguard Technology will pass the request onto our client on your behalf. Vanguard Technology has no responsibility for the Client acting upon the request.

Sharing personal information with third parties

By using this site you also acknowledge that in certain countries or with respect to certain activities, the collection, transfer, storage, and processing of your information may be undertaken by trusted third parties. Such third parties are bound by contract with VT not to use your personal information for their own purposes or provide it to any third parties. VT shares personal information with third parties who act as our agents to help us fulfill our service. These third parties constitute credit card processors and email providers for marketing and bulk mailings. Individuals who receive marketing materials from us and wish to opt-out may do so by following the instructions on the emails.

We do not rent or share personal data with third parties who are not acting as our agents. If in the future, this policy changes, we will notify individuals within our privacy policy and provide an opt-out choice prior to the sharing of any data.

VT may be responsible for the authorized transfer of personal data to third parties. Please note that we may also be required to disclose personal information in response to lawful requests by public authorities including to accommodate national security and law enforcement requirements.

GDPR and Vanguard Technology’s Role

GDPR means Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC. Vanguard Technology will comply with the GPDR regulations regarding data privacy and collection as the data processor for our clients we host on our servers and perform work for who act as the data collectors and area the responsible party for providing opt-in/opt-out services for its members and website visitors.

Data Deletion

Processor Services for Client Websites with Deletion Functionality. During the Term, if:

(a) the functionality of the Processor Services includes the option for Customer to delete Customer Personal Data;

(b) Customer uses the Processor Services to delete certain Customer Personal Data; and

(c) the deleted Customer Personal Data cannot be recovered by Customer (for example, from the “trash”),

then will delete such Customer Personal Data from its systems as soon as Vanguard Technology will reasonably practicable and within a maximum period of 90 days, unless EU or EU Member State law requires storage.

Processor Services for Clients Websites without Deletion Functionality. During the Term, if the functionality of the Processor Services does not include the option for Customer to delete Customer Personal Data, then Vanguard Technology will comply with any reasonable request from Customer to facilitate such deletion, insofar as this is possible taking into account the nature and functionality of the Processor Services and unless EU or EU Member State law requires storage.

Cookies

Vanguard Technology provides software that requires the use of cookies and database storage of personal information such as user id, email address and name to function properly. These cookies may be deleted at any time by deleting cookies from your browser.

VT takes its users’ privacy seriously and will provide the information that was deleted upon request by contacting Vanguard Technology
